The Show, The Show!

The Show is just about all we can talk about these days!  In one week I will  be working all day at the Foothills Craft Guild's Fall Show, in Knoxville Tn., at the Jacobs building in Chilhowee Park!  (It is really close to the Zoo.)  So much to do and so little time.  Ya'll are really going to get tired of hearing about it, I am sure!

This week it has been back to the looms.  I have emptied a loom that has had a placemat warp on it for some time.  It was supposed to be going to a students house for her to use, but I haven't heard from her in a while, so there you go, 3  more runners!

All from the same warp, and all that is left to do is the serving, hemming and tagging!  That will be done in short order after I finish this post.

Next up is this really cool black and white rug!  Serging and Hemming are in it's near future, too!

 This rug however has been a disappointment.  I had woven it over a period of time, a little here and a little there.  It seems that my tension changed a little as time passed.  There is a difference of about 2 inches in width from one end to the next!

I may hem it and take it to the center next week to see what the girls think.  Sigh!

Once that is all done, I may have time to weave a couple of Bread cloths, using the left over warp from my last custom order.

I could also weave off the last baby blanket on old Lillian, my first loom.  But, I think I may just stick to the Bread Cloths, they sold so well at the last show, and frankly the Baby Blankets have not sold well at the shows!
