Happy New Year Full of Endings and Beginnings

Happy New Year everyone! We are starting the New Year off with all sorts of new things. Pearl changed the weft for her final towel. She chose a varieagated weft but stayed with the same weave structure. You know I can still see the pattern!
Liz has a new project on the mind, there is going to be a new special someone coming into her family soon!
Joycelyn has finished the never ending shawl warp and one of our new weavers is putting on a new project.
Betsy is getting ready to put a warp on the Macomber and a couple of us were giving her a hand today. The Macomber does have sectional rakes, but it is entirely possible to warp in the normal manner as long as you stay between the same outside pins as you wind on. By lunch time we were well on our way. We will finish winding on next week.
Time for Show and Tell! Pearl brought in a couple of pieces that Peggy wove for her. A couch throw and a scarf.
Carol showed us a fishy towel that Peggy had also woven.
Liz brought in a beautiful shawl that her Son and his wife brought back from their travels this year!
I brought in my latest baby blanket.
And Mark brought in some towels that he had woven on JP's loom while he was travelling this summer.
Next week there will be more of the same, projects finishing and projects starting, it is what we do! That is all until next week, Tina for all
