Up To Speed

It's beginning to look a little more "normal" around here!

Some of the weavers even found time to participate in the 4th of July Anvil Shoot at the Museum of Appalachia!  Diane sent me this picture of Pearl and Pat demonstrating during the festivities.

We are still adding new weavers to our group:  Betsy actually started last week, and she's ready to start threading her warp.

Pearl finished her placemat warp, and it came off the loom this morning!  She's already planning on her next warp using some shades of blue and green.

Sharon is busy adding books to the library that were donated by Carl and Bonnie.

Charlotte is always looking for new projects to try at home.  Those are her dish towels that she just got off the loom.

Marie added new cords for the bar on the loom Cheryl is using.  It's time to start a new warp!

Laura has returned from her adventure, and it's back to the placemat warp!!!

Well....it's not the back of her car, but, this proves that Gina will weave anywhere!!!!

I don't know about you, but I dislike having to add/subtract heddles on the loom!  It's even trickier when you have already started threading!!!!

Oh, Bonnie....I feel your pain!!!

Linda just keeps working away at her dish towel warp.  Right now she's using a bright blue weft.

Tina is almost through with the first baby blanket!  There are a few crossed threads since she wanted a certain color order.  This requires a little adjustment from time to time as the threads come up over the back beam.

Vacation time has a few of our weavers missing right now, but you can see we are slowly getting up to speed around the studio.

  Happy Weaving!

LouAnn
