l to r: Victoria, Diane, Carol and Cheryl |
Seems like lots of new faces at the weavers' lunch today! It was one of those truly beautiful spring days that lure you outside. (Of course they are calling for snow flurries in the mountains by Thursday!)
Diane and Carol |
Diane has already finished her "sampler project" that Carol designed to introduce her to weaving. I'm sure she is already thinking about what she'll weave next!
Victoria is winding her warp for her first project. Welcome to the Tuesday Weavers!!!!
l to r: Marilyn, Shirley, Marie and Liz |
Lunchtime gives us a chance to catch up with each other, and share our news. (We also just enjoy being together!)
Linda, Sharon and Pat |
It's nice to hear that some of us are starting to get together with our families, and plan trips for later this year.
Laura and Betsy |
About half of us have had our second Fauci Ouchie, and it's nice to be able to get out more. Lunch outside is just another treat!
Liz is on Spring Break.....it's never long enough, though. We're so glad she could join us.
Linda has done a bunch of blue towels, and she's just started using black for the weft for the next towel run.
Betsy has about seven towels finished on the cloth beam, and it looks like she has enough warp left for a couple more towels.
Pearl and Peggy came to weave last week when there was NO ONE in the studio. They are being so careful.....and I hope you are, too! We can't let our guard down just yet!
Stay safe!
Happy Weaving!
LouAnn
