We are back again for a busy Tuesday. I have been trying for the last couple of weeks to clean up a bit around here. So today I decided to wind a couple of rug warps, since we have alot of partial cones of wonderful rug wool. 4 EPI. 36 inches in the reed, and 15 to 16 yards long. I really got to play with the colors here, designing a little as I went. My camera ran out of steam on me so I am relying on some of the others to fill in the blanks for me.
Carl brought in some pictures for us to look at today. He had some great pics of some of the many projects he had done over the years.
There are many projects going on that have already made the blog. Maggie is really loving her linen project, Lou Ann is in the process of dressing the "Tools of the Trade" 8 shaft with a scarf warp, we don't have any scarves in the shop! Joyce is winding a cream colored warp, I can't remember what it will be, maybe placemats. Marta, Sharen, Bonnie, Pat and Carl are doing placemats with various weft materials. Other Bonnie wasn't here today, but made great progress on her shag rug last week. Carol is off to Nashville this week and we won't see her for a couple of weeks as she then heads off to Canada, to visit family. We were happy to welcome Lanny back from his world travels, he was so shocked that we hadn't finished his rug warp. :) Alan should be back in town soon we hope, he is going to have to come back home to rest from his many mission trips.
Linda as you may know is back home, recovering from her recent double knee replacement, and we hope to see her there at the center soon.
As I promised Maggie, I made a Banana Pudding as soon as I got to the center today. I would have normally done it at home the evening before, but I plum forgot! I got to the center without a mixer, so I poured off the milk that I did NOT need from the half gallon, and added the instant pudding mix to the remaining milk and shook it. It came out great!
So here is the obligatory photo of my backside! What you can't see is that I am laughing so hard I can't stand up straight. Maggie is going to post a picture of the second warp I wound. I think we may have enough to do a couple more, maybe next week, by then my head may have stopped spinning.
Until then, Happy Weaving, Tina, for all!

It just wouldn't be Tuesday if we didn't see the "other side" of you, Tina!!! You're almost a blur....you move so fast getting things done!
You all have so much fun! I really miss all of you. I hope that Carl will bring the pictures back another time so I can see!
Sorry I couldn't post pictures for you! My computer is having issues that my isp can't seem to resolve! It was a productive Tuesday, otherwise. MMmmmmm! Banana pudding! Thanks, Tina!
I MISSED THE BANANA PUDDING! Not fair. See you next week.
