Packing for the Show and Fifth Tuesday Feasting!
I got some pictures of some of the shawls being modeled and a couple of pictures of the bottle Gift Wrap Towels. First Judith and Jenny are giving us a great look at the Shawls that came from the fabric woven over the last month or so. Then Betsy wound some cord for her Gift Wrap Towels.
This morning it was time to take inventory of the Tuesday Weavers items for the show this weekend! Marie was sick this morning so we all scrambled to make up the difference! Get better Marie! The first picture is of Patty and I entering the tag numbers onto a spreadsheet so that I could send it to Marie, while Karin is putting the inventory into tubs.
I don't want you to think that we forgot that today was the fifth Tuesday of the month! What that means is that it is potluck Tuesday! (Dear LouAnn came up with the idea years ago when she noticed that 5th Tuesdays are sprinkled nicely throughout the year!) The first picture is of the girls trying to set up for the potluck While Patty, Karin and I are doing inventory and packing the tubs!
Now for Show and Tell! Susan brought in a skein of yarn that Jenny spun for her out of Susan's Llama fleece! Also Mark wove a scarf while he and Judith were demonstrating the art of weaving at the Museum of Appalachia, Karin and I were Demonstrating the art of Spinning at the same booth.
Here are some pictures Mark sent me of last Thursday and Friday at the Museum.
That is all I have today! Karin and I will be at the Museum of Appalachia on Thursday and Friday for Heritage days and there will be Tuesday Weavers at our booth this weekend at the Foothills Craft Guild Fall Show Friday through Sunday at the Expo Center in Knoxville.
Until next week this is Tina, for all!

This Week and Last Week All Mixed Up
(I wasn't in town last week and Mark sent me photos from last week as well as a couple from this week that happend before I arrived. So I thought I would mix them up in a way that seems right to me, I make no claim that it will make sense to anyone else as Jet Lag still has a strong influence on me today!)
Last week there was the fabric that I had woven off and that Patty had woven and there was a third piece that I don't remember who had woven it..
This week we have finished or almost finished garments! Oh and Carol is showing us a pink scarf this week that Karin was twisting the fringe on last week in one of the last week photos.
Last week Liz cut off her table runner and this week Joycelynn cut off her Christmas towels, and Erin cut her project off of the table loom!
Last week Carol cut a project off of the direct tie up Baby Wolf and this week Patty put a warp on it for us to weave in demonstration mode at this years Foothills Craft Guild's Fall Show in Knoxville the first weekend in November.
Before we get into Show and Tell there are a few "Weaver and Warp" pictures to show. Phyllis is weaving on an Ellen's Pattern Warp but she is treadling it differently. We can't wait to see how it turns out! Mark is weaving Ellen's Pattern as well, in the traditional treadling. Ruth is continuing to weave the lawn chair pattern towels and Jenny has changed the weft color on her shawls.
Now it is time for "Show and Tell"! Last week Linda showed us a scarf and some placemats she had woven, while this week Phyllis showed off a shawl that she had picked up during a recent trip, and Betsy showed us the beautiful hand woven gift wrapped bubbly drink bottle.
Patty brought in a scarf and some towels she had woven at home, Susan showed us the finished scarves that came off of her loom, Irene showed off a "Patty Hat" and Mark showed us a skein of Indigo dyed yarn (from last week) and a Table runner that Judith had planned and he had woven at home (this weeks).
At the end of the day as I was leaving, Patty was winding another mixed warp for fabric. LOVE!
Until next week, this is Tina, for all!
