Tuesday happenings!

Good morning all, Linda was up at 5:30 this morning, and then took a few steps over to the recliner.  Later she even made a trip to the restroom and back - I was impressed.  She is still dealing with pain and nausea issues, but somewhat better overall.

Thank you all for being such good friends.

I'm enclosing a photo of smiling Linda and Lou Ann's flowers she brought yesterday.

Mark

This is what I found in my inbox this morning.  I was actually at the center when I checked my mail, so I was able to share with everyone how much better Linda looked this morning.  We were all tickled.  I went back by after weaving, and she had just finished physical therapy and looked pretty good!  I am sure she will be glad when this is all a memory!

There is a lot going on as usual.  We had 2 loom empty out today.  Joyce, with her placemats in pinks and reds,  and the white towels with colored rosepath I have been working on for the last month or so.

I added a finger manipulated hem band to dress them up a bit.  I ended up with 3 sets of 2 handtowels.  I will post picks of the finished product soon.

Along with the ending of projects is the ever present beginning of projects!

Sorry for the blurry picture, this is Bonnies placemat warp going on the newly refurbished little Hammett loom.

Carol is working on another warp for this summers kids camp.

Pat brought in some stuff she had accumulated over the years from the center.  We don't know where this handwoven, handmade dress came from, but we do know that the only one of us present at the center that can put it on is Marta!  So she gets to keep it!

Marta was also showing us one of her favorite ways to sit at the loom.  This ball is perfect for this loom!  She says it is very comfortable.

Lou ann sent me this picture of Linda on her feet this evening, she is looking better all the time!  Look at that smile!

Hugs and kisses from us Linda,  we will do our best to keep you company and up to date on all our doings until you are once again in the thick of it!

Well I suppose that is about all for today, it has been packed with endings and beginnings, of many kinds.

Happy Weaving, and (knitting together of bones) Tina
