In Living Color!

The Tuesday Weavers use a LOT of 8/4 carpet warp in LOTS of different colors!  That's the reason we make a couple of orders each year!
Carol called Great Northern  Weaving in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Tuesday afternoon, and the boxes were sitting in my carport on Thursday afternoon!!!!
  Four BIG, HEAVY boxes!!!!!
They were too big to fit on my hand truck, so I've been unloading and sorting them from the carport to the downstairs hallway.

We ordered 461 cones in 42 different colors.

Black, white and natural are easy.....then you get into all the shades and hues of yellow, brown, green and blue....and it can get tricky!  That's where the sample card comes in handy!

I'll get all the colors labeled and checked in, then I can start the process of boxing the orders from the rest of the weavers.

How can you not love all the beautiful color?

I'm filling in for Pat this afternoon at the Center.  They are hosting Hot Chocolate and Cool Crafts, and I'll be straw weaving with the guests.  That worked out nicely since I left the list of who ordered what on Tuesday!  I just need to remember to grab the list while I'm there!!!!

Have a SUPER weekend, and
Happy Weaving!

Lots of Oh's and Ah's coming from Oregon this morning. I know how excited I get at say just 5-10 cones of anything, let alone 400 something. Maybe you should all call your storage room the Rainbow room? ;)
