Preempted

My regularly scheduled weaving activity has been preempted by this:
   Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor

The silly thing refuses to start, and my yard looks really BAD!  So, guess what I get to do today instead of weaving or going to the Museum?????

I can't put it off any longer.........

I did get the Rigid Heddle loom dressed with this yarn for a little scarf.  This warp replaced the one that wasn't weaving very nicely.

I've also been working on the yarn for the Straw Loom Kits at the Center.  This is the rest of the yarn that the weavers donated last fall.  It's interesting how many of the same color we have...yet these were donated by different weavers!!!!!  I guess we all have our favorite colors!!!

If all goes well, I'll get time to sit down and dive into my new book:  Brown Book of Weaving Drafts.
I had pre-ordered it on Amazon and it came last week.  I've leafed through the pages, but I'm ready to have a good look at the drafts and information.  I love looking at old drafts!!!!

OK....I can't put this off any longer....I'm off to Home Depot for a new battery.  Hopefully I'll be up and running before noon.

Happy Weaving!
LouAnn

That looks to be a very interesting book. I've added it to my Amazon wish list!
