Gloomy Rainy Day Post

It is an icky, icky day outside, so we went to the movies to see "The Kings Speech".  It was a great film and so made me want to look up all the characters and see their real life selves!

We are NOT working on the barn today, in fact we have decided to take a few days off and rest.  Of course the fact that the weather is really dismal might have something to do with it!   You can check our progress over on Farmsteadstudio.

I got these perfectly cool Crocodile clips in the mail today, and I can't wait to try them.  Sandra, over on Sandra's Loom Blog, has a great post on using these as a reverse temple,  so of course I have to try them out.  I searched here local and came up with nothing so I Googled them and found them on Amazon for a couple of dollars each.   I will post pics when I get the hang of it.

Toni now has the run of the upstairs when I am not at home. That is to encourage him to use those back legs.   In the evening I bring him down with us.  For the picture, he climbed into my lap all by himself, not by coming in front of me and climbing up, but he first climbed into the leather chair behind me and then onto the shelf beside me and then onto my lap.  He is still quite clumsy and does better on carpet than on the bare floor.  He is improving everyday, but I am not sure if he will ever be able to go back outside again.

I have a new order that came in today.  She wants a "Kings Flower" in copper!  I can't wait to try out those Crocodile Clips!

That is my news for this dreary day, Until next time, Happy Weaving, Tina

Toni looks very happy in your lap! I'm just glad he's doing better. I can't wait to see the King's Flower in copper....that will look very nice, I think.

I have been wondering how Toni was doing. Glad he is doing better. After all he has been through he has earned the right to be indoors, safe and sound.
I bet copper will be beautiful in King's Flower. Can't wait to see it.

Wow, Toni looks a lot like Weftie! I'm glad he's feeling better. Congratulations on the order. And do please post the "reverse temple" photos, since I have no idea what you mean!

Glad to hear Toni is improving and the barn looks like it's going together nicely. Funny how all that work breaks down to a few paragraphs. Seems unfair. A few icky days are not a bad thing!
Copper is one of my favorite colors. I bet it will be lovely in King's Flower.

Oh, strength and health to Toni! What a gorgeous kitty!

Staying in was a wise decision. Good for you.
