All In A Day's Work

Yes....it's those ladies on the back row, again!  You see Betsy is just weaving away, right??  But, Shirley, Bonnie and Ms. Ila are working on something else!!!!  I'm sure Barb is wondering about that, too!

But, as Ms. Ila pointed out to me this afternoon, she DID get a lot of weaving done!!!!  Yes, Ma'am!!!

With the napkin deadline looming, Carol is working on her plan for a warp.  (July 7 will be here before we know it!!!!)

Molly and Darlene were equally busy at their looms.  There isn't much warp left on Molly's loom, so she is weaving a few inches for the greeting card inserts.

She finished up this afternoon, and cut off the warp.  There are ten towels on the cloth beam.

Although it looks like they are playing the piano, there was NO music coming from this instrument!  Marie is still trouble shooting a wee problem with the loom.  Karin was glad to help out.

Linda is still making the adjustment from the rug loom to the Pup.  As you know, you don't need to beat so hard when you are weaving a scarf!!!!

Tina finished her project today while Sharon worked on her table runner.

A customer bought all the neutral placemats in Ellen's pattern, and would like to have eight more!  Although Sharon was going to move to a different loom for awhile, Carol wanted her to weave this special order.  So, she's back doing some placemats on the little Leclerc.

Say "hello" to Frieda and Harriet.  They are finding out that there are just not enough hours in the day to weave ALL the projects you want to weave!   Sad, but true............

Time to join the two ends of strips for another shuttle full of blue jean strips!  Next week, Carl will need to cut more strips for his rug!

Betsy has finished her dozen placemats!!!!  These were tagged and ready to go upstairs to the shop this afternoon.

These ladies had a busy weekend!  LaDonna had a booth at the Lenoir City Crafts festival.  Ms. Ila said that the folks really enjoyed seeing her weave.
Anna has been busy, too!  She found a little Structo loom!  How much fun will that be????
And, she used the indigo she planted to make some dye.  That Mason jar has the lovely blue liquid in it!!!

You gotta love it!!!  Sharon made us some banana bread to get us going this morning.  AND, Barb was thinking of us while she was in Switzerland!
Oh, yes!  Chocolate!  That's the way to our hearts!!!

There's never a dull moment, that's for sure.  And, a little weaving going on, too!  It's all in a day's work, right?????

Happy Weaving!
LouAnn
