New Warps on the Looms and a Visitor!

Over the last few weeks we have had several projects come off of the looms. Well you must know that means new warps going onto the looms. Our students Angie and Colleen are at it again with new colors to work with.

Susan #3 is already sleying the reed on her new project!

Shannon is getting ready to put this lovely warp on her loom! (I didn't get a pic of Shannon!)

Jenny is threading her project that has every other thread going to shaft 1!

We also have 2 tiny looms to share! Samantha brought her tiny inkle and Sally is on a pin loom!

We had a visitor in red today, no not Santa, but Carol came in just before lunch! We were so glad to see her and we had her to ourselves for a whole hour and a half!

It is already time for Show and Tell! Rhonda finished a mixed fiber scarf this week!

Patty brought in some lovely linen spa cloths she has made to sell with one of her friends handmade soap. Here she is serging the edges, getting ready to sew them up! (We had a french seam tutorial with Shannon!)

Dana showed off a sweater she had finished last spring when it was too hot to show it off. I think she said it was the Carbeth pattern from Kate Davies. Bulky yarn and interesting construction sure makes an impact!
