Show Prep
Today was the day that we got ready for this weekends show. It is the Foothills Craft Guild Fall Show and it is located at the Expo Center north of Knoxville on Clinton Hwy. We as Tuesday Weavers belong as a group to the Foothills Craft Guild, and we will be bringing Tuesday Weavers inventory as well as our own personal inventory. First I will show you the inventory that the individual weavers have brought for the show.
Most of this is part of Carol's inventory.
Here are 2 tubs of inventory upstairs and I think there was another tub that was filled later. Karin and I worked together to make an inventory list as we loaded these tubs and then I took that list and made a spreadsheat for Marie so that she can cross things off as they sell. Once we had everything together, the merchendise was loaded into Mark's Van and all of the booth supplies was loaded into Marie's big car. Thank you Marie, Karin and Mark for all your help!
At some point this morning Liz let me know that her final 2 blankets were ready to be cut off.
Isn't it beautiful fabric!
Before we knew it lunch time came and then it was time for Show and Tell! Patty finished a Top this week and she used something that most of us had not heard of. It is called "Chenille-it" Patty applied it to the seam that goes across the front and back of this top.
Laura brought in her new creation to show us her new design.
Susan brought in her finished candy cane towels and pet mats, she worked hard to get them ready for the show!
I brought in the skeins that I had dyed last week.
Mark brought in some placemats that he had finished recently, very festive colors!
That is it for today, if I get some pictures of the booth I will do a post about it before next Tuesday. Until then this is Tina, for all!
